Welcome

     Welcome!  I have sworn up and down that I would start a blog and keep up with it, but I haven't been much good at meeting that promise.  Until now.  I originally started a blog on my Mac site, but it was difficult for me to keep up with and figure out the formatting.  I also couldn't link to all the blogs I love to read and check in on.  So in an effort to make it easier, I have adopted blogspot as the home to my new journal for many reasons. 

     For those of you who don't know, my husband Kenny just left for a year long deployment and I know I will have plenty to tell him, so a blog seemed an easy way to do that.  Also, I love to write and have sadly not done much of it in the past few years.  I hope this will ignite that love again.  Finally, I want to be able to post pictures and stories of Neely for everyone to read.  She is changing so much that I can't keep up with all the new milestones!  I hope this journal helps me stay focused on the year ahead and how quickly the time will really fly before Kenny is home again.  Bear with me while I figure out the features and nuances of becoming a true blogger!
